Instructions

The Construction Career Days will grant scholarships (one-time lump sum distribution) to graduating high school seniors, or students earning a GED who have a genuine interest in the transportation field (engineering, construction management, or technical skills). Two different types of scholarship are available; the Vocational / Apprenticeship Scholarship and the College Scholarship. The total number of scholarships will be announced. Please read the instructions carefully and fulfill the requirements. Should you have questions that your parents, guidance counselor, or principal cannot answer, please call 1-800-749-2967 ext. 7533. Notes to the Applicant
  1. The judging and selection of winners will be made by the Construction Career Days Scholarship Committee. Judging criteria are listed below.
  2. The scholarships will be paid directly to the winners.
  3. The announcement of all scholarship recipients will be made in May 2024
Eligibility Requirements
  • Be a high school senior, or students earning a GED graduating by the end of the 2023/2024 school year.
  • Attend the Construction Career Day event.
  • Be a citizen of the United States at the time of the application.
  • Complete this application. Use "N/A" if the box is not applicable.
  • Provide a certified high school transcript or equivalent.
  • Provide three (3) Letters of Recommendation, describing your character and/or work ethics.
  • Complete Essay (should be 500 words or less).
  • Sign (by completing appropriate email information), date the completed application and press Submit.
Vocational/Apprenticeship Scholarship College Scholarship
Additional Requirement Intend to attend a vocational or technical school or begin an apprenticeship with a company in the transportation field. Intend to earn a degree in engineering or construction management and to enter into the practice of engineering or construction after earning degree.
